Understanding Personal Finance

Understanding Personal Finance requires approximately 12 to 15 hours of your student's time.

Each weekly class is 1.5 hours and there is approximately 30 additional minutes each week of community time where additional student feedback and discussion is required.  Some weeks also contain additional assignments.

Each week of our class represents a unique theme:

Week 1: Relate
Week 2: Respond
Week 3: Steward
Week 4: Grow
Week 5: Safety
Week 6: Freedom

The Table of Contents from our pdf workbook is available for review. 

Yes, a unique registration is required for each student. We do offer a multi-student discount of 20% for families though. If you are registering 2 or more students in your family, you may use the form below to submit your discount request.

Outside of your regular registration fee, the only other associated cost is for a YouScience Assessment.  This fee is currently $49.

Budgeting is taught using the You Need a Budget Method (YNAB) and a free YNAB account may be used during the time period of the class.

Everything else needed including our downloadable pdf workbook and community registration is provided to you after you register.

This class is typically geared towards students 14-17 years old, although attendees slightly younger or older can benefit from the material.

Refunds are 100% available until the first day of class.
